<tutti frutti> is fruity photography project practiced in 2022.
‘Tutti frutti’ means “every fruits” from Italian.
Lexically, - precisely wikipediadically
- It’s a colorful confectionary containing various chopped and usually candied fruits,
or an artificially created flavour simulating the combined flavour of many different fruits.
Project of the same name - ‘tutti frutti’ -consists of 26 artificially processed fruits that starts with 'from A to Z'.
Alphabetized in order, it would be like this
: apple / banana / cherry / dragonfruit / eggplant / fig
/ honeydew / ice / jelly / kiwi / lime&lemon / mango
/ nopal / orange / pear / quince / raisin / strawberry / tomato

This project is practiced across ideological images and fantasies of fruits that personally thinks of.
When I thought like ‘Apple should be more reddish,’the apple picture was redly processed.
Meanwhile I add spicy and strong letters on the mango picture because I’m allergic to mango ― EXTREMELY PEROSONALLY ― .
Like this, some characteristics were needed enough to be exaggerated,
while I felt free from the rules of ‘fruits should be like this’ at the same time.
My images harshly distorted until it arrived to my personal ideology about fruits.
The process repeated until image seems fully express that VISUAL LEGIBILITY about fruits.
The fruit images were processed and processed until they became sufficiently funny!
(blueberry, coconut, jujube, and pomegranate were added following after A - Z 26 fruits.)
And this project is going to continually work in process looking forward to upcoming spring & summer.
Fruits in several alphabetical categories will continue to be added.It is going to be tutti-frutti-er after a plenty of fruits added:)
And this project firstly exhibited @ Stair Gallery in 44 Insadong-gil, Jongnogu, Seoul in Feb, 2022.
